ITW Belt for Taping Machine
The ITW belt is a critical component in taping machines used for carton sealing and packaging applications. It is comprised of a strong, durable rubber material that provides a stable surface for box transport while being flexible enough for smooth operation around pulleys and rollers. At the core of the belt is a multi-ply carcass that gives it the necessary thickness and rigidity to handle boxes weighing up to 100 pounds without stretching or deforming. The ribs in the carcass also help prevent sideways movement or tracking issues. The top layer is friction coated to grip cartons securely as they move through the taping heads without slipping. Special guide strips are molded into the edges of the ITW belt to keep it centered on the pulleys. These prevent walk-off and keep the belt running straight for optimal tape application. The guides fit precisely into the pulley grooves. Additionally, the Belt is designed for easy installation and replacement when needed after extensive use.
